This ‘Strips’ table lamp was designed in the late 1960s-early 1970s by Preben Jacobsen & Flemming Brylle for Quality System in Denmark. It has a smokey grey acrylic base which supports a shade, made of white pvc rings (strips). Each ring overlaps the next one, which creates a very special effect and when lit, the white sheets create a soft warm ambiance. This lamp has a touch of space age style and is in a very good condition with minor signs of age and use. The Strips model was produced as a pendant and table lamp and were re-introduced in the 1990s and is produced today.
