Pastoe DU03 sideboard by Cees Braakman 1960’s. Cees Braakman is strongly influenced by the Japanese style, which is also the nickname of the series “Japanese series”. It is the prominent work of Braakman. The cabinet has some signs of life, see detailed photos. The top has some UV discolouration and a small veneer damage on the side. One of the handels is broken, this can be solved if the preference is for. The serie came in three woods types teak, mahogany and rosewood. this would be mahogany according to a reformed restorer who only restores pastoe cabinets.
